The world´s best tennis player Novak Djokovic wins the Mubadala World Tennis Championship in Abu Dhabi and receives the trophy from the Czech Republic based company LASVIT.
For the first time ever, the design of this prestigious Mubadala World Tennis Championship trophy comes from the pen of a design student as part of a design competition hosted by LASVIT.
LASVIT, a company from the Czech Republic and an official partner to the Mubadala World Tennis Championship 2011 trophy is proud to announce the author of the best trophy design - Alya al-Zaabi, a student of the department of Art & Design, Zayed University, Abu Dhabi. Her design ended up in hands of one of the best world tennis champions – No. 1 world tennis player Novak Djokovic won the whole championship, David Ferrer was the second best player of Mubadala. Rafael Nadal was the third best player of the championship, Roger Federer, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and Gael Monfils also played in Abu Dhabi.
